This course will enable you to deliver the PASMA Towers for Users and Low Level Access courses.

Pre-Requisites

All candidates must have completed a PASMA Towers for Users Course and a PASMA Low Level Access Course (or the Combined Course) and provide evidence of twelve month’s experience.  Instructor candidates are assumed to have previous experience and knowledge of mobile access towers, to be conversant with the contents of the PASMA standard training course, Operators’ Code of Practice and to have undertaken prior study of these and related Regulations.

PASMA Instructor training is not intended for candidates with little or no experience.

You must also have, or will need to achieve, an Instructional Techniques qualification before you can deliver PASMA training. More information on Module 1 - Instructional Techniques.

Points to Note

On successful completion of Modules 2 - 4, and with evidence of an Instructional Techniques qualification, all Novice Instructors will need to take part in a 4 day basic mentoring programme, Module 5 – Mentored Module.

During this Mentored Module, the novice instructor will deliver a complete PASMA Towers for Users course. All sessions will be undertaken under the mentorship and tutelage of a PASMA Lead Instructor.

The dates for these sessions are arranged by the instructor candidate and the nominate mentor.
