Course Overview
A large deck tower is an arrangement of towers and platforms that have been joined together at their sides and ends to create a spacious working area. They’re useful if you need to access a whole ceiling, for example for painting or electrical work. They can even be stepped, which is useful in places like cinemas or auditoriums.
Course Duration & Delivery
This course is conducted over 2 sessions, when booking select the date for your online session, you will automatically be booked on to the corresponding practical session* (this is usually 2 days after your online theory session). *The practical session will take place in Soham.
Course Content
Using a combination of theory and practical work, this course builds on your existing tower knowledge by introducing new techniques for large deck towers and new enabling components, such as walk-through or step-through end frames. The course covers:
- How to safely assemble, dismantle, alter large deck towers
- How to safely use large deck towers
- How to inspect large deck towers
- How to identify hazards relating to their use
- What legislation, regulations and guidance are applicable to these towers

This course will enable you to teach the PASMA large deck towers for users course.

You must already be a qualified PASMA Instructor.
